Obesity, one of many world wide issues

"Obesity" is one of many issues and on every agenda in many countries, but obesity is a world wide issue. Obesity is both a sickness which is very hard to deal with along with lack of knowledge how you are sopose to eat and exercise. From my perspective there is also "laziness" alot of laziness I must ad. We don´t walk och run as we did before.

BMI (Body Mass Indez) is one way to "measure" if you are over weight. Your height compare to your weihgt and your age are soppose to have a certene balance. I´m 6 feet 11 and my weight is 185 lbs wich gives me a BMI of 18,9 wich is a healthy weight in my age.

Test your self here, with a BMI culculator.

Yes, absolutely, you have the opportunity to choose, and you have the right to be obese if that is your wish!!! But "obese" also create very big cost´s for every tax payers/society´s and much more for your self and your family. This is a world wide issue with one answer, exercise and eat healthy. Those who has a disease and therefore "obese" must seek help, and fight all they can to receive it.

I found one incredible graf of the "Obese development" (scroll down so you don´t miss it.) from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website. Wich gives you some history of USA growth of obesity.

Healthcare reform should not only address the obesity epidemic (both in adults and children), but should also take into consideration the rising epidemic of dental disease. Diabetes attributed to obesity is also impacting dental health, gum disease in particular. We lack access to affordable dentists in this country. There has been widespread increase of dental caries in children. As focused as we are on cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening, in the United States, the aforementioned dental issues need at least equal attention. We need to contact our local congressmen so that dental care is included in the Obama healthcare reform plan.
